Become an Altar Server!

We invite all students in grades 4-12 to join our Altar Server Ministry! Our Altar Servers assist Father Walsh, Father Daniel, and Deacon Marty throughout the mass. Tasks include processing in and out of mass, holding the Roman Missal & binders that Father reads from, washing the priest’s hands prior to communion, as well as other various procedures throughout mass.

You may sign up to serve for any of the weekend Masses at St. Pius X, but please note, our greatest need is at the 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon Sunday Masses. 

This is such a valuable ministry at St. Pius X; and if you’re thinking about becoming an Altar Server, just know that there is nothing to worry about! Father Walsh & Deacon Marty will help if you forget what to do and where to stand. Ultimately, they just appreciate your help, and would love to have you on board!
