Change for Change 2024
Thanks to your generosity, the 2024 Change for Change campaign has created a lasting impact at the Casa Santa Ana home in the Dominican Republic. The funds collected during Lent supported the establishment of a community garden, providing sustainable food resources for over 530 children and the surrounding community.
In the past year, the garden has flourished—producing fresh vegetables and fruits while teaching valuable agricultural skills to the children. They have not only gained hands-on gardening experience but have also contributed to the upkeep and sustainability of this life-changing project.
The Impact We've Made
Sustainable Food Supply: The garden has supplied fresh produce to nourish the children at Casa Santa Ana and helped reduce food insecurity in the community.
Skill Development: Over 530 children learned gardening techniques, fostering responsibility and self-sufficiency.
Community Growth: The garden has become a space of collaboration, care, and shared purpose for residents and neighbors alike.
