ALTAR SERVERS
We invite all students in grades 4-12 to join this important parish ministry. Our Altar Servers assist Father Walsh, Father Russ, and Deacon Marty throughout the mass. Tasks include processing in and out of mass, holding the Roman Missal & binders that Father reads from, washing the priest’s hands prior to communion, as well as other various procedures throughout mass.
This is such a valuable ministry at St. Pius X; and if you’re thinking about becoming an Altar Server, just know that there is nothing to worry about! Father Walsh & Deacon Marty will help if you forget what to do and where to stand. Ultimately, they just appreciate your help, and would love to have you on board!
