  • Fr. Walsh looks forward to meeting with couples to develop a marriage preparation program suited for them. Please contact our Parish Secretary, Carm Turpin, at secretary@stpiusxloudonville.org or (518)-462-1336 for more information and Pre Cana retreat dates.

  • Yes, but please know they are not part of the marriage ceremony. If you choose to do so, you will need to supply all the materials, including the three candles and candle stands.

  • Yes, we are happy to recognize your deceased loved ones in this way.

  • Yes, but we recommend against it for safety reasons. Runners tend to “bunch up” and can present a tripping hazard. If you choose to have a runner, the length of the aisle at St. Pius X Church is 75 feet.

  • Bubbles are fine, but we ask that you avoid flower petals or rice.

  • Most Friday afternoons and evenings and most Saturdays are available for weddings. Because of our vigil Mass, the latest Saturday afternoon start time would be 2:30pm. There is an option for a 6:30pm Saturday evening wedding. We encourage you to confirm your wedding plans before securing a reception site.

  • Yes, please contact Brian Hoffman, our Music Director, at 518-462-1336 or music@stpiusxloudonville.org. He will meet with you to plan the music for your ceremony.

  • No, we do not have the staffing to provide this service.

  • We suggest having photographers and videographers check with the priest prior to the wedding ceremony.

  • Yes! All you have to do is indicate on the ‘Ceremony Planning’ form that you’d like to have your wedding livestreamed.
