January – February

That Man is You Men’s Ministry: Takes place each Friday morning beginning on January 13th. Click here for more information

TET Celebration with the Vietnamese Community of Sacred Heart Church: Taking place on January 22nd at Sacred Heart Church. More information to come!

Catholicism 101: Father Russ takes us through the basics of our faith beginning the week of January 23rd. Registration opens on Tuesday, December 27th!

Volunteer Fair: Join us throughout the weekend of February 4th/5th to see how you can jump in this year!

Blessing for the sick & caregivers: Taking place on February 12th for World Day of the Sick

Super Freeze Super Bowl Party: Join us on Sunday, February 12th from 1-4 for our pre- Super Bowl party featuring good food, games, and community!

 

March – May

Mens’ & Womens’ Lenten Breakfasts: Join us on Saturday, March 4th for our Lenten Breakfasts. For the first time ever, both the men and women will attend the same breakfast, and it will take place on campus at St. Pius!

Pre-Cana Program: Our Pre-Cana Program begins on March 6th. For more information and how to get involved, click here

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration: Taking place on March 12th at the 10am mass. Join us for good food and hospitality!

The Chosen Small Group Program: Back by popular demand, this small group program will take place on four consecutive Wednesdays beginning March 1st. Participants gather on campus to watch an episode of The Chosen, and then discuss how that episode parallels to their personal lives through discussion questions provided.

Winter’s Night Out: A wonderful fundraiser for St. Pius X School. Join us as we honor long time teacher Steve Curtis and Diane and Jerry Forenzo on March 25th.

Children’s Scavenger Hunt: Taking place on March 26th at the 10am mass for children to learn about the church!

Expected Mom’s Blessing: Taking place on April 23rd at the 10am mass for all of our Expectant Mothers.

Cornerstone Womens’ Retreat: Check back for more information on this retreat taking place on April 22nd!

Bereavement Support: Beginning on May 1st who struggle with the loss of a loved one. For questions on this group, email pastoralcare@stpiusxloudonville.org

Speaker Series on Bioethics: For four consecutive Mondays beginning on April 17th, we are inviting a speaker to discuss bioethics. Sign up for our Tuesday Update to know when registration begins!

May Crowning: Taking place at each of the masses on Sunday, May 14th to honor Mary, Mother of God

International Day Celebration: Each year, we celebrate the many cultures that make up the St. Pius X Community. Join us on Sunday, May 21st after the 10am mass for great food and hospitality. Check back for information on how to sign up and represent your culture!

June – August

Corpus Christi Procession: Taking place on June 11th at the 10am mass

High School Graduation Blessing: We invite all High School Graduates to join us for a blessing as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives on June 4th at the 10am mass

Celebration with the Black Apostolate Community: We are excited to join our network parish, St. Joan of Arc & the Black Catholic Apostolate in June. More details to come!

We Got Ya Wednesdays: Taking place on July 19th and August 9th. Join us for food, games, and fun for those of all ages.

September – December

Food Truck Friday: Join us in September, details to come!

Backpack Blessing: We invite all of our students for a special Backpack Blessing on September 10th at the 10am mass.

That Man is You: Taking place each Friday morning, the Fall semester begins on September 15th, 2023.

Youth Soccer and Basketball Programs: Our soccer program runs for 5 Saturdays beginning September 23rd for youth of all skill levels. Details on our basketball program will be released in October of 2023!

Blessing of the Pets & Stuffed Animals: We hope you and your pets or stuffed animals will join us for the Feast of St. Francis on October 1st for a special blessing.

Trick or Treating with the Saints: Join us on October 29th at the 10am mass for this St. Pius X tradition of Trick or Treat with the Saints!
