Covid-19 Protocol Update as of May, 2023

With the recent WHO and CDC announcement to an end of the Covid-19 Pandemic emergency, we have decided to allow Eucharistic Ministers the option to wear a mask at all sections of the church during communion.

This is the only change to our Covid-19 policy at this time. Please consider this update, as well as the below update from 2022 for our complete Covid-19 policy.

Covid-19 Protocol as of April, 2022

Over the last two years, St. Pius X has done everything we can to ensure our parishioners have a safe worship experience given the pandemic. Given the current climate of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we are operating under the protocol below.

  • Masks are only required to be worn on the Stafford Street side of the church, in the bank of pews closest to the St. Joseph statue (this pew bank is also closest to the sacristy)
  • Social distancing is not required anywhere throughout the church
  • All other pew banks in the church have no mask requirement
